A demanding client wanted to build a home on the site of a typical empty Vinohrady attic, offering the same comfort as living in a villa, including a covered pool with the possibility to have it open to the exterior. The task was challenging not only from the architectonic and construction perspective, but also with respect to administration and funding. The project had been discussed for almost 2 years before an acceptable compromise was reached. The view of nocturnal Prague from the top-situated lit-up pool, next to the living room with open trusses of over 4m high will undoubtedly provide an extraordinary experience.
