Janovice Single-Family House

A newly built single-family house, the shape of which was influenced by the archetype of a Czech village - a barn, although in a rather architecturally derived form, as well as industrial architecture, namely the hangar buildings of Luftschiffbau Zeppelin GmbH Friedrichshafen. The open layout of the ground floor interior uses the large windows to allow a view to the garden and surroundings and connects both spaces in one harmonic entity. The distinct colour of the facade was chosen in order to permanently contrast the building against the colour of the surrounding background that significantly changes over the seasons.
